Winfluence listeners

Winfluence has been relaunched for 2026 with a wider brief: influence, thought leadership, traditional and AI search, social listening and responsible AI, for small businesses and lean marketing teams. Listening has climbed every month since the relaunch work began in June.

About the hiatus. Winfluence was largely on hiatus from January 2024 until the September 2026 relaunch, with only occasional new episodes. The audience never left. Listeners kept finding the back catalog throughout, averaging about 155 downloads a month across more than 300 episodes in 2024 and 2025 with almost no new releases.

Methodology. Podcast figures come from Megaphone’s delivery reports. We removed downloads that showed clear signs of automation: one Apple Podcasts client in Wichita, Kansas, that re-downloaded a single 2023 episode 1,635 times, and single-day sweeps that pulled one copy of 40 or more episodes at once. Megaphone reported 4,927 total deliveries for the trailing 12 months before filtering, and 39,931 over its full history; removing 2,426 automated downloads leaves 37,505. Lifetime figures add Libsyn’s 3,820 all-time downloads for the 87 episodes it hosted through August 2020 and Simplecast’s 1,944 downloads since the September 22, 2026 move, for 43,269 in all. Downloads from September 2020 through October 2021 are not yet included. Facebook and YouTube figures come from Agorapulse. Jason’s LinkedIn figures and follower demographics come from his LinkedIn creator analytics export; Falls+Partners page demographics come from LinkedIn Page analytics. FallsPartners.com figures come from Google Analytics 4 and count US visitors only, because traffic from Singapore, China, Japan and one Polish referral source showed clear bot patterns (engagement near 0% or near 100%).
